2.1 ULTRASONIC LEVEL MEASUREMENT SYSTEMS

The 3107 Transmitter comes with 65 ft integral cable. A version with 164 ft integral cable is available as: 3107HP3N1I5

The 3108 Transmitter comes with an external temperature sensor for improved speed of sound compensation. The temperature sensor cable and the transmitter signal cables are integral to the transmitter.

PART 3 - EXECUTION
3.1 INSTALLATION
A. Follow manufacturer's instructions for the minimum mounting height between the ultrasonic level transmitter/sensor and maximum expected liquid level.
B. Mount sensor to ensure clear path to the material surface.
C. Provide programming necessary to convert base measurement units to level or volume (tank contents) if the units of measurement listed in the schedule require internal calculations.
